APAT Releases Full Schedule for 2024 Live Tour

The Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) has announced 13 more stops for 2024, following the successful conclusion of the UK Team Championship. The live tour will travel to multiple locations across Europe throughout the year, allowing amateur players to showcase their skills and take their game to the next level.

2024 APAT Live Tour Schedule

The 2024 APAT Live Tour kicked off with the UK Team Championship which ran from January 12-14 at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham, UK. The next stop will be at Grand Casino Asch in Czech Republic where the German Team Championship will take place from February 9-11. It will be followed by the European Championship of Amateur Poker which will run on February 21-25 at Aspers Stratford, London.

There is one event scheduled for March, the APAT Open Championship, which will be a three-day affair (Mar. 22-24) running at Man235 Casino, Manchester. The tour will head next to Malta for its fifth stop – the Mediterranean Amateur Poker Championship – which will take place at Portomaso Casino from April 27-28.

It will be followed by two stops slated for May – the Irish Amateur Poker Championship (May 1-2, Dublin, Ireland), and the Scottish Amateur Poker Championship (May 17-19, Grosvenor Casino, Glasgow).

From June 14-16, APAT will host the UK Amateur Poker Championship at Grosvenor Casino, Leeds before returning to Dusk Till Dawn, Nottingham for the World Championship of Amateur Poker (August 21-26).

The Grand Casino Asch in Czech Republic will play host to another APAT event – the German Amateur Poker Championship – from October 2-6.

The Maltese Amateur Poker Championship (Nov. 2-3, Portomaso Casino, Malta), UK & Ireland Amateur Poker Championship (Nov. 15-17, Grosvenor Casino, Newcastle), and Poker Squads Live (Nov. 29-Dec. 1, Dusk Till Dawn, Nottingham) complete the current line-up. APAT hinted at adding more stops during the year, which could include a Welsh Championship.

Talk Club Wins 2024 APAT UK Team Championship

The 2024 APAT UK Team Championship is now in the books, with “Talk Club” bagging the top honors. The team, comprised of Tristan Chaplin, Richard Wilcox, Simon Brooke, Robert Hallworth, Ian Witt, John Patten, Daniel Williams and Adam Neal, took home the APAT gold medal along with £9,200 in top prize.

The “Midland Freelancers” finished second, with “Fair Play Poker” (3rd), “Malvern Poker Club” (4th), and “Blue Blood” (5th) completing the top 5.
