BetMGM Poker Online Championships – Key Details

The BetMGM Poker Online Championships will run in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania on the same dates, from September 14 – 24. The schedule is also the same for all three states, comprising a total of 37 tournaments. Buy-ins range from $55 to $2,500 but the operator is giving players the chance to enter some of the biggest events of the series for a more affordable price via qualifiers available daily on the site.

The series is headlined by the Poker Online Championships which features a buy-in of $1,000 and a guarantee of $125,000. It takes place on September 24. But it’s just one of the 14 trophy events on the schedule. Players looking for major action may also take part in the $2,500 buy-in, $100K GTD Super High Roller and the $1,000 buy-in, $50K GTD High Roller which take place on September 17 and September 19 respectively.

The other trophy events players should watch out for include the $320 buy-in, $20K GTD Progressive KO (September 14), $535 buy-in, $25K GTD No-Limit Hold’em (September 18), $535 buy-in, $20K GTD Pot Limit Omaha (September 20), $535 buy-in, $30K GTD No-Limit Hold’em (September 22), and $215 buy-in, $15K GTD Final 7-Max No-Limit Hold’em.

Rake Refund for Early Birds

Registering early for any event on the schedule comes with extra perks, with early birds getting the chance to have their rakes refunded. To be eligible for the rebate, players must already be registered for the event when it begins. In doing so, the rake they paid upon registering will be returned to them. The refund will be reflected in their balance.

So if you are able to register early for all 14 trophy events, you’ll be competing rake-free. But be reminded that the early bird rebate only applies to cash registrations. That means those using tournament tickets or tournament dollars when entering events won’t qualify for the rebate.
