Partypoker Announces First Caribbean Poker Party Festival

Partypoker is holding its first Caribbean Poker Party Festival from November 19 to 25 at The Level at Melia Caribe Tropical in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The festival will feature five MILLIONS events and a total of $10 million in guaranteed prize pools. Buy-ins for four MILLIONS events range from as low as $1,100 to $25,500 and the Main Event which has a $5 million guarantee comes with a $5,300 buy-in.

The Main Event is scheduled to take place from November 20-25 and is one of the biggest live non-WSOP or WPT tournaments in Caribbean history.

Online qualifiers for as little as $.01 have been happening via the Partypoker website for the past couple of months. Partypoker is giving away a special $10,000 Caribbean Poker Party Festival package that includes a seat at the $5,300 MILLIONS Main Event, $2,000 in cash for flights and a 7-nights all-inclusive stay for 2 people at the venue.

Top poker players from all over the world are expected to be a part of this event. Some of partypoker’s top brand ambassadors have also confirmed their participation at the Caribbean Poker Party Festival. These include Fedor Holz, Sam Trickett, Boris Becker, Jason Koon, Mike Sexton, Natalia Breviglieri and Jackie Glazier.

Apart from the high stakes MILLIONS events, there will also be 24/7 cash games, low-stakes no-limit hold’em, and other exciting events included in the Caribbean Poker Party Festival. Partypoker is also putting together a list of non-gaming activities that players and families can enjoy during their off-time. Some of these events that players and guests can enjoy include golf sessions, a catamaran trip, pool parties and a cocktail party at the Coco Bongo nightclub to name a few.

Partypoker has really started to turn their image around during the last couple of years and the company’s efforts are paying off. Partypoker was named Poker Operator of the Year at the 2017 EGR Operator Awards ceremony in London on October 26, defeating three-time consecutive winner PokerStars.
