Latin American poker network Aconcagua Poker has officially entered the Spanish market.
The new network has gone live under the domain AconcaguaPoker.ES and is authorized by Spain’s Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (DGOJ).
New poker players in the Spanish online gambling market will have access to a separate player pool from its South American operations.
The online poker website has three language options – Spanish, Portuguese and English. Aside from poker, the new Aconcagua also offers other games like roulettes, blackjack, slots and video bingo.

Poker players all over Spain will be delighted to know that Aconcagua is planning to hold its first live poker tour in the country which will take place in Madrid during the month of March. One of the highlights of the poker festival will be the Main Event which will feature a whopping €1 million guarantee.

The company had been gearing up for the launch in Spain even before the country opened its doors to new license applications. Back in October 2018, the Latin American network hinted that it had everything in order and would launch operations quickly in Spain once it obtained its gaming license from the DGOJ.
Earlier this month, the DGOJ granted Aconcagua a limited authorization to hold online poker tournaments carrying maximum guarantees of €300,000. True to their earlier statement, the online poker operator wasted no time in launching online poker operations.
The CEO of Aconcagua Poker Juan Manuel Pastor had also earlier indicated that the company was planning to expand into the regulated markets in Europe and entering Spain would be the first step.
