PokerStars PA Launches 100% Reload Promo In Response to WSOP.com

PokerStars has launched a major new promotion in Pennsylvania, just days after WSOP.com went live in the state. Players on PokerStars PA will enjoy 100% match bonus up to $500 until July 20.

This type of offer is usually introduced by operators as part of their Welcome Bonus package for new players making their first deposits, but for this particular promotion on PokerStars PA, those who reload at least $30 to their respective accounts can also take advantage of the 100% match bonus.

They may claim the bonus using the code “BOOST“. The offer runs till July 20.

Those who have yet to sign up to PokerStars PA will still get to enjoy an even better offer of 100% match bonus up to $600, as soon as they create an account with the site and make their first deposit. They must use the code “STARS600“.

It’s not every day that PokerStars rolls out these types of promos for its players. The operator occasionally ran the same promotion between 2016 and 2018 for its New Jersey market.

PokerStars Strives To Maintain Dominance in PA

The huge offer from PokerStars PA comes after WSOP.com launched in the state. The Caesars-owned online poker site could potentially threaten PokerStars’ dominance in PA, given its long years of experience and popular offerings, including its WSOP-branded online tournaments.

The site dealt its first virtual cards in PA on July 12 via a soft launch which lasted for three days. It is now operating in full capacity and has recently announced an eight-event WSOP online bracelet schedule for PA players, despite previous speculations that the site wouldn’t host a PA-exclusive WSOP bracelet tournament just yet.

PokerStars PA’s ongoing 100% Bankroll Boost promo is in response to the current noise generated by WSOP.com’s launch in the Keystone state, which has a population of 12.8 million.

The online poker giant wants to make sure it keeps the momentum and remains in the picture by launching a massive reload bonus offer. It adopted a similar strategy in Michigan when it also gave away 100% matching funds up to $500 in late March of this year, coinciding with the launch of BetMGM in the state.

Pennsylvania is now home to four online poker rooms, which also include BetMGM and Borgata, both of which are running under the partypoker network. WSOP.com is also set to launch in Michigan this year. PokerStars currently dominates both PA and MI markets.
