King’s‌ ‌Resort‌ ‌Announces‌ ‌Major‌ ‌Poker‌ ‌Festivals‌ ‌As‌ ‌Europe‌ ‌Eases‌ ‌Lockdown‌

After a three-month hiatus, live poker is making a comeback in Europe as the largest poker room in the region has announced an exciting line-up of events for the next two months!

King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic has prepared a fresh jam-packed schedule for those itching to return to the live felts.

The action kicks off this coming weekend with a PLO high-roller event. The two-day event comes with a buy-in of €2,500 and a huge €100,000 guarantee! Some of poker’s most prominent names will join in on the action on June 20-21.

Slovakian poker star and a regular at King’s Casino Marek Blasko, WSOPE bracelet winner Besim Hot, and former football pro Sergej Barbarez are among those confirming their attendance in Europe’s biggest PLO event since the coronavirus lockdown.

Prior to the PLO Highroller, a €5K invitational tournament will be held on June 19-20, where the VIPs at Kings will compete for €100K in guaranteed prizes.

The PLO Highroller event will precede King’s first live poker festival of the summer, the Balkan Poker Circuit.

Balkan Poker Circuit

The Balkan Poker Circuit runs on July 1-6, offering €200,000 in guaranteed prize money. The main highlight of the festival is the Main Event which comes with an affordable buy-in of just €150. It has six starting flights taking place on July 2-5.

Apart from the cash prizes on offer, the festival will also give away two tickets to the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE). This indicates that a European leg of the world’s most prestigious and longest-running festival could happen as early as October.

Apart from the Main Event, the schedule also includes two other events taking place on July 1 and July 5 respectively. Both events will award €8K in guarantees, for a buy-in of €115.

Other Upcoming Poker Festivals

The Balkan Poker Circuit will then be followed by the Bounty Hunter Days Warm Up, on July 9-12. The festival will award €100K in guarantees, alongside one free seat to the WSOPE. Three days after its conclusion, another online series will heat up the tables, a six-day tournament named Benelux Classics.

Taking place on July 15-20, Benelux Classics includes a €200K guaranteed Main Event (July 16-20), and a High Roller event on July 19. Players may also take part in a €10K GTD Benelux Classics Opener and a €10k closing event scheduled for July 15 and July 19 respectively.

Other upcoming festivals included in King’s jam-packed live events calendar this summer are the German Poker Tour running on July 23-27, and the Deutsche Poker Tour on July 30-August 2.
