The freshest PokerGO Tour (PGT) series came to an end earlier in the week as the PGT Mixed Games 2024 series was finally wrapped up.

The latter ran between February 28 and March 8 and comprised different mixed game events featuring buy-ins between $5,100 to $25,300.

“Kid Poker” Dominates High-Stakes Mixed Game Series

Canadian Daniel “Kid Poker” Negreanu kept his word and proved he is now interested in quality over quality after he lost more than $2 million in poker tournaments last year.

The pro player with a 48 GPI Rank, six WSOP bracelets, two WPT wins, and total live earnings of over $52 million dominated the high-stakes mixed game series.

Even though he didn’t take home any trophies this time, Negreanu made four final tables. This includes a runner-up finish in the $10,200 Dealer’s Choice event for $103,400 as well as a third-position finish in the $10,200 Big Bet Mix event for $55,000.

His fourth final table came in Event #8: $10,200 Big Bet Mix, which gathered 37 runners including popular faces like Adam Friedman, Chad Eveslage, and Benny Glaser.

While he enjoyed a final table chip lead, Negreanu eventually fell in third, leading to the heads-up battle between six-time bracelet winner Jeremy Ausmus and investor Dan Shak.

The latter won and scooped up $133,200 as well as his first PGT victory.

Alex Livingston Wins $25,300 10-Game Championship

The $25,300 10-Game Championship counted 41 entrants and gathered a prize pool of little over $1 million.

2019 Main Event final tablist Alex Livingston was in the lead, collecting close to $325,000 as well as his first PGT title.

The player, who has a 2022 bracelet in the $1,500 Seven Card Stud event and a runner-up position in the 2023 $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw and H.O.R.S.E. Championships in his portfolio, kept the chip lead from Day 1 onward.
