partypoker LIVE Grand Prix UK Returns with £100K Guarantee From July 10

Summary

  • The tournament features hybrid action with Day 1 flights running both online and live
  • There will be nine Day 1s in total, taking place on partypoker and Dusk Till Dawn
  • £100,000 in total prize money will be up for grabs

The partypoker LIVE Grand Prix UK is returning on July 10, with the action taking place both online and live at partypoker and Dusk Till Dawn. Players will compete for £100,000 in guarantees for a buy-in of £120.

Online Flights (July 10-13)

The online portion of the uk poker tournament involves four starting flights taking place on partypoker each day from July 10-13. Players sit down with 100,000 chips played to 10-minute levels, with blinds and ante starting at 200/500/65a. They’ll battle it out until just 15% of the field remains, and those surviving players, who are guaranteed to take home a £200 min-cash, will then advance to Day 2.

partypoker is also running satellites for the Day 1 flights which players can enter for as low as £0.01. Players choosing this route will need to go through two more stages before they can qualify for any of the four starting flights.

The winners of the £0.01 centrolls will progress to the £3.30 GPUK Main Event Online Day 1 feeder; if they’re successful, they’ll automatically qualify for the £16.50 satellite where up to eight GPUK Main Event tickets are up for grabs.

Online Day 1A players who are unable to reach Day 2 will have one more chance to compete as they’ll receive a free £16.50 satellite ticket.

Live Flights (July 14-16)

The live starting flights get underway on July 14 at Dusk Till Dawn. There are five Day 1 flights in total which will run through July 16, with the first and final flight adopting a Turbo structure. The tournament allows one re-entry per flight for both the online and live portions.

All of those who survive the online and live Day 1 flights will combine on Day 2 (July 17) to play down to a winner.

Players may use their partypoker funds to get into the live Day 1 flights. To do this, they only need to head over to the partypoker lobby, choose which Day 1 to play, and then register.

Another option is to simply use cash to register for the tournament at the actual venue or use the Luxon Pay app to register in advance. The global payments system is an existing partner of partypoker and it will collaborate with the operator for the inaugural Mediterranean Poker Party which kicks off this August at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel in North Cyprus.
