In a statement, Juanda said

Playing against Fedor was really tough. He's a really awesome player and obviously, he's the guy winning all the super high rollers. I'm really fortunate to play heads up and come out on top. I think we have a different style of playing. It was a good long match and I'm pretty sure he enjoyed it too.

The Triton Super High Roller Series Main Event had a buy-in of HK $1,000,000 and had a total of 83 entries – 57 of these were unique registrations and 26 of them were re-entries. This brought the total prize pool to over $10 million and attracted some of the top poker players in the world. The Main Event was played out over a three day period and the top 12 players finished in the money.

Australia’s Kahle Burns finished third and received $1.3 million in prize money, Spain’s Adrian Mateos won $890,000 to take his total prize money to $10.5 million while Germany’s Dietrich Fast finished in 5th place and took home $590,000. Timothy Adams who had the highest amount of chips before starting the final table finished in seventh place and received $360,000.

Juanda heaped a lot of praise on the Triton series and said that he always enjoyed participating in Triton tournaments in Manila, Macau and Montenegro. He said one of the reasons why Trion tournaments were so special was due to the way they treated poker players.
